General availability for DA2 and TE2 wireless peripherals

April 18th, 2012 – The DA2 wireless damper/valve actuators and TE2 wireless terminal equipment controllers are now certified and available for purchase. Both products are fully programmable and enable system integrators to deploy these zone control products wirelessly; reducing installation cost and downtime.

Ywire Technologies turns to CAN2GO for BACnet integration

January 27th, 2012 – YWire Technologies, Inc., a Montreal-based manufacturer of commercial lighting control systems, has announced a partnership with SCL Elements, manufacturer of CAN2GO building automation solutions, to create a BACnet-integrated YWire solution. YWire’s FiveSeries Lighting Control System is the first lighting control system in the world to incorporate Broadband over Powerline communications into a light switch. CAN2GO’s multi-protocol integration expertise will allow YWire solutions to sit underneath BACnet IP building automation systems.

CAN2GO launches new line of smart wireless peripherals, including a damper/valve actuator based on the Belimo MP-bus platform

January 23rd, 2012 – SCL Elements, manufacturer of CAN2GO products, officially launched its new line of smart wireless peripherals today at the AHR Expo in Chicago. The line includes the TE2 terminal unit and the DA2 proportional damper/valve actuator, based on the Belimo MP-Bus platform. The DA2 received a 2012 AHR Expo Innovation Award honorable mention.

January 23rd, 2012 – SCL Elements, manufacturer of CAN2GO products, officially launched the new dashboard feature of its award-winning license-free Web BEMS at the 2012 AHR Expo in Chicago. The company also showed previews of its Android app and block programming features, which will be added to the Web BEMS this Spring.

BACnet Offering Extended to Wireless via EnOcean

January 23rd, 2012 – The powerful line of BACnet building automation products from KMC Controls has now been augmented to include wireless sensors. These new sensors employ EnOcean energy-harvesting wireless technology. The self-powered sensors communicate to KMC’s award-winning BACnet network through an EnOcean-to-BACnet gateway powered by CAN2GO.
